JTB UK will co-ordinate and host a high quality “Body & Soul” themed press trip to Jordan. The trip will show participants the health and wellness side of the country as well as the age old traditions and the diverse landscapes of the Kingdom. Participants include Imagen Haddon from The Independent national daily newspaper (circulation: 238,756), Lisa Jackson from Zest consumer magazine (circulation: 93,176); Wendy Gomersall from the Scotsman Magazine (circulation: 55,645); Gareth Scurlock from Times Online (circulation: travel channel 500,000 unique users / month and as a whole 10.9 million); Kate Wright from Handbag.com (circulation: 1.3 million unique users); Lisette Johnston from News Reporter the national news agency for the UK and Ireland (circulation: UK and Ireland wide to all radio, TV and newspapers); Yvonne Moran from the Holiday Magazine (circulation: 26,000)
3 –5 July

JTB UK will run a series of dedicated road shows for travel agents in York, Leicester and Southampton on the 3, 4 and 5 of July.
July

Trek Petra” Press Trip JTB UK will host a combined tour operator and journalist trip to trek from Dana to Petra along old Bedouin trails. This trip was planned after JTBs UK stand at the Adventure Travel show, as a number of potential new tour operators are interested in featuring this itinerary. The following journalists have expressed an interest: Anthony Lambert from The Independent which is a national newspaper (circulation: 238,756), and Mike Shallcross from Mens Health consumer magazine (circualtion: 235,833).

JTB UK is currently planning a range of advertising and promotional campaigns for the third and fourth quarters of 2007.
