SWITZERLAND
7-12 September

JTB Switzerland will be hosting a press trip for the Swiss-French speaking journalists concentrating on the main attractions of Jordan including Dead Sea, Wadi Mujib, Dana Nature Reserve, Wadi Rum and Petra.
18th September

JTB Switzerland is planning host an event in cooperation with a TO on a boat on Lake Geneva and invite travel agency staff and direct clients of the TO to give a presentation on Jordan, enjoy Jordanian food, music and dance. RJ, Trade Wings and Movenpick Hotels & Resorts will be joining in this event.
September

JTB Switzerland will run internet banner advertisements on the Kuoni website. Each week the website receives 43'000 hits. The JTB banner will be linked to a direct Jordan offer.

JTB Switzerland in cooperation with Planete Bleue will distribute Jordan window displays to 10 travel agencies in the Swiss-French area. The displays will be rotated every 3-4 weeks.
September

JTB Switzerland will give workshops in 8 cities in the German speaking part of Switzerland to inform the travel agency staff about Jordan and teach them methods on how to better sell the destination. This will be done in co-operation with RJ in the cities of Aarau, Solothurn, Chur, Buchs, Winterthur, St. Gallen, Lucerne and Zug.
