SPAIN
May

JTB Spain will run the second advertising campaign in selected journals and magazines targeting the consumer as well as trade.
April

JTB Spain will be attending SITC (Catalonia International Tourism Fair), which is the second largest tourism fair in Spain that will take place in Barcelona.
April

JTB Spain will host a press trip to cover the Dead Sea marathon in order increase the visibility of this activity and promoting it in Spain and Portugal.
May

JTB Spain will host a lunch for Radio Journalists to promote Jordan as a destination in Portuguese and Spanish Radios.
15 April

JTB Spain will start an Incentive campaign in Portugal and Spain by contacting Tour Operators specialized in Incentive Groups. The target cities will be Lisbon, Faro and Porto in Portugal as well as northern Spain
April

JTB Spain will complete a preliminary data base with contacts in the Portuguese market. Portugal is a small country of 10 million people. The concentration will be in 3 cities: Lisbon, Porto and Faro with more than 40% of the population. Approximately 20 Operators in each city control the biggest number of outbound traffic, and this data base will include all of them.

JTB Spain will conduct a Market Awareness program in Portugal and Spain. The campaign will concentrate on Lisbon, Faro and Porto in Portugal and Madrid, Barcelona and Gijon in Spain. The purpose of this campaign is to increase the awareness of the Jordan tourism product in the Portuguese and Spanish agencies. The campaign will also focus on promoting Petra as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
