SPAIN
A complete tourism destination

JTB Spain is working on minimizing the effect of the global financial crisis and is continuing to position Jordan among various market niches, with emphasis on BIBLICAL JORDAN. A letter have been sent to 200 tour operators selling Jordan in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, 113 specially selected online agencies, 50 selected tourism writers and journalists in all media channels, as well as 320 Selected Organizers of Religious Groups. The letter highlights Jordan as a complete tourism destination and the land of the Bible.
Selling Jordan

JTB Spain has contacted key operators, product managers, and brochure experts to ascertain their interest to sell Biblical Jordan, The Jordan Marathon, Festivals, Jordan Adventure, Honeymoon, and Travel with Children etc. The response and reaction has been excellent as usual; we can say that Spanish Operators and Online agencies are ready to present Jordan tourism variety permanently in their brochures, WEBS and BLOGS.
Radio program

Radio Cadena SER (the largest national broadcasting station in Spain) presented a Jordan tourism exclusive radio program. One more program will be done before the summer is over.
Easy Viajar

Jordan is being promoted as one of the 10 summer recommended destinations by Easy Viajar with expected 850.000 visitors.
Campaigns

JTB Spain is planning to run monthly campaigns between September 15th and January 15th with emphasis on Autumn, giving Jordan extensive presence in the traditional retail agencies in addition to on-line facilities to present and sell our product.
Mail campaign

A direct mail campaign to 370 religious organizers is in progress to inform them that we will soon have Biblical Jordan Tour packages in the market place.
Jordan as a Biblical land

The Mk Online Agency is the first of its kind in Spain having 100 Spanish Sites, and 2.5 million monthly readers. MK will include news, interviews and information about Jordan special religious places in order to promote it as Biblical land. They could also add information on how to get to Jordan.
Media Channels meetings

JTB Spain will promote special meetings in Barcelona and Madrid with selected Media Channels to talk/inform about Biblical Jordan, Autumn and Winter campaign in Madrid and in Barcelona. We will invite Presidents and VP of Journalists and Tourism Writers Associations and/or personalities of Radio and TV.
Viajar in Portugal

We have selected magazine Viajar in Portugal to show Jordan as Beautiful, near, safe and friendly destination.
FAM trips

In the planning stages are ideas of FAM trips for key Religious product Managers. Also an extensive Pan European Campaign in the METRO stations of Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao.
