JTB Spain will attend a tourism fair in Galicia dedicated to northern Spain

JTB Spain will contact all media channels about the 2007 Dead Sea Marathon in April 2007

JTB Spain will prepare a radio program with a large broadcasting station in Catalonia and Bilbao. This will be a coordinated broadcasting on at least 6 radio stations using 3 minute mini-programs. Radio promotion is very effective in Spain and less expensive than TV advertising.

JTB Spain will start a direct mail campaign promoting Jordan special events in Madrid, Catalonia and northern Spain to all trade and media contacts.
16-18 March

JTB Spain will attend a tourism fair in San Sebastian, Sevatur
26 Feb

JTB Spain will begin advertising in specialist student magazines, the magazines are published in Madrid and Catalonia where Spain has the largest concentration of students
22 Feb

JTB Spain will host a lunch meeting with IB and Span Air and participating tour operators to reinitiate the charter operations to Jordan
19 Feb

JTB Spain will run a direct mail campaign to reach 9,500 tourism outlets in Spain. Travel agents are the main points of sale to reach the general public as well as TOs
March

JTB Spain will launch a Trade advertising campaign. Ten small advertisements will be published in trade magazines. This campaign will commence Jordan’s annual presence in trade magazines targeting summer 2007 season.
12 -17 Feb

JTB Spain will publish advertorials in Travel Trade Magazines and will make a presence on 4 front covers as well as an inside reportage. Media options include: TGM & TAT, both are trade magazines distributed to all travel agencies and tour operators
5-17 Feb

JTB Spain will be implementing a print advertising campaign in selected national newspapers in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao areas to establish a good position for Jordan in the general tourism sector, tourism business sector and cultural tourism as well as the trade sector. Media options will include: El Mundo, El Pais, El Comercio, Diario Vasco, La Vanguardia and El Periodico. This campaign will go in parallel with another campaign that we will start in selected national magazines to target both the consumer and the trade. Media options include: De Viajes (45,000 distribution and 153,000 readers); Clio (43,000 distribution and 114,000 readers: Emprendedores (63,000 distribution and 239,000 readers)
31 Jan - 4 Feb

JTB Spain will participate in the FITUR Tourism Fair, and plans to hold meetings during the fair with TV, media and trade. Also a reception will be held on the stand inviting about 300 members of the media and travel trade.
