JTBNA will survey meeting planners of the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) who plan international religious meetings to identify perceptions, challenges, strengths and weaknesses of Jordan as a conference/retreat destination for religious groups. Findings will be used to help determine future JTBNA efforts to market/promote Jordan as a religious conference/retreat destination.

JTBNA will send a mid-year mailing of 2007 marketing materials to replenish trade supplies, and schedule fall educational workshops. The workshops will be tailored to the specific needs of individual tour operators with these overall goals: to build a stronger partnership; increase staff level of understanding and knowledge of Jordan as a religious destination; help marketing teams of key tour operators develop and issue more compelling and effective religious market pitches and materials on behalf of their Jordan products; identify best future co-op partnerships; and, where appropriate, participate in educational programs for tour leaders or client base.
Aug 21-25

JTBNA will be attending VIRTUOSO Travel Mart, Las Vegas which is the industry’s leading event focused on luxury travel and allows members and suppliers unprecedented access to each other, peer-to-peer networking opportunities and the chance to learn about Virtuoso and its programs in the areas of talent development, product, marketing and technology. Almost 3,000 attendees are expected this year. This activity will help to increase awareness of the high-end/luxury markets on the experience in Jordan, TO/TA knowledge of Jordan, Jordan packages sales, and Jordan programs and length of stay.
