23-25 May
JTBNA will exhibit at the annual convention for members of the Catholic Press Association (CPA) and the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals. Members include journalists and editors from newspapers, magazines and radio; as well as communications officials from dioceses across North America. CPA members are regular Jordan press tour participants. JTBNA is working with the Catholic Advertising Network (CAN) and Group IST to offer a press tour program for editors of diocesan newspapers that would require editors not only to run editorial on Jordan but also to sponsor a pilgrimage within two years of the press tour. |

25 May-4 June
JTBNA-Canada will select 8 key tour operators and 8 travel writers to participate in Royal Jordanian’s Inaugural direct flight from Montreal, Canada. |

5-15 May
JTBNA will host a religious Trade Inspection tour exclusively for existing and potential religious Tour Operators. Many respondents to a 2006 trade questionnaire showed little knowledge of Jordan’s top religious sites, yet most were convinced they could increase their sales from 5-15% (even higher in some cases) by selling more overnights in their Jordan religious packages. This familiarization tour will provide these trade members with firsthand knowledge of Jordan that will help them to better tailor and promote their religious itineraries. |

10-20 May
JTBNA will be hosting 10 tour operators for its Spring familiarization trip. Invitations are being sent out to 3* and 4* potential tour operators. |

11-20 May
JTBNA along with JIB will be hosting 10 journalists on a press trip. Invitations will be sent out to prominent media writers/broadcasters in order to increase their knowledge and awareness about Jordan that will in turn lead to an increase in consumer and trade cognizance. |

22nd– 25th April
JTBNA will exhibit for the third year at the annual convention of North America’s oldest religious press association Associated Church Press (ACP). ACP members – consisting primarily of mainline Protestant denominational media – participate regularly in JTBNA press tours. |

2-4 May
JTBNA will exhibit for the first time in the annual convention of the Evangelical Press Association (EPA). EPA membership consists of periodicals and other media with a combined audience of more than 20 million. Influential evangelical outlets such as Christianity Today, Discipleship Journal and Focus on the Family are members. JTBNA will sponsor the closing banquet & awards dinner, and announce the November, 2007 press tour for members of EPA and its sister organization, ACP. |

5 May
JTBNA-Canada will be participating in BCATW Symposium, (British Columbia Association Travel Writers) the annual travel writers’ conference. For the first time JTBNA will exhibit on the podium with information on our destination and products. JTB is proud to be the first Industry member to join BCATW, and will be providing a half hour video presentation and a display table with Jordan brochures. |

27th March –6th April
JTBNA will be hosting 10 participants on a spring press tip. Some of the participants are freelancers, and some others write for prominent media publications with high circulation. Also, as part of this trip, JTBNA will be hosting a crew from the Outpost magazine, which is one of the most important magazines specialized in eco-adventure tourism. They will be doing an out-of-the ordinary desert trip by camel with Bedouin guides. |

The magazine, an award-winning flagship periodical reaches proven travelers in 175,000 households across the U.S. This partnership is a great asset to Jordan since the Virtuoso network is comprised of 565 of the world’s most prestigious travel agencies making the group the most powerful in this niche market |

19-22 April
JTBNA will be participating in the Travel & Leisure Show which is Canada’s largest Trade and Consumer Show. JTBNA –Canada will be presenting 3 on stage half-hour educational seminars through out the show. In addition, GM TOURS, our tour operator partner will also do presentations on their product line, which include Jordan and will provide an opportunity for Jordan to distribute our literature to all attendees upon entering the Show. |
