22nd– 25th April
JTBNA will exhibit for the third year at the annual convention of North America’s oldest religious press association Associated Church Press (ACP). ACP members – consisting primarily of mainline Protestant denominational media – participate regularly in JTBNA press tours. |
 |
23rd March –1st April
JTBNA will host the first Trade Familiarization tour exclusively for Tour Operators and Top Agents selling Jordan in the Religious Market. Many respondents to a 2006 trade questionnaire showed little knowledge of Jordan’s top religious sites, yet most were convinced they could increase their sales from 5-15% (even higher in some cases) by selling more overnights in their Jordan religious packages. This familiarization tour will provide these trade members with firsthand knowledge of Jordan that will help them to better tailor and sell their religious itineraries. |

27th March –6th April
JTBNA will be hosting 10 participants for an eco-adventure joint press trip with the collaboration of “TIES”, the International Ecotourism Society. This trip, besides being a good tool to promote the eco-adventure niche market, will also allow us to explore the possibility of creating a “green” tourism certification program in Jordan. |

27th March –6th April
JTBNA will be hosting 10 tour operators for its spring familiarization trip. Invitations are being sent out to 3* and 4* companies, which are not already selling Jordan but have a potential, since they are already selling the region, or they are already selling Jordan as an extension only but need to sell the destination as a stand-alone. Participants are not selected yet either for this trip. |

February/March
JTBNA will be participating in 5 of the Addison Travel Trade Show series 2007 in Canada. The Addison Travel Marketing Company is Canada’s leading trade show provider. Most shows in 2006 set records or achieved greater numbers than the previous year in terms of both exhibitors and attendees with nearly 8000 travel agents, including many owners/managers from ACTA. The benefit JTBNA gets from these shows is immense since it offers an opportunity to reach up scale out of town travel agents, as well as to target Canadian media by hosting media conferences in each city. |
 |
12 - 14 March
JTBNA will exhibit for the first time at the Christian Management Association (CMA) Annual Leadership and Management Conference, a gathering of key decision-makers for leading Christian organizations and churches. Leaders from most major, non-denominational para-church groups attend this event, including high-profile ministries such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; Campus Crusade for Christ; and Focus on the Family. JTBNA will promote Jordan as a destination for travel ministry programs, as well as retreats and conferences. |
 |
23 – 25 March
JTBNA will participate in the Boston Globe Travel Show: The Boston Globe Travel Show connects travel professionals with thousands of interested travel shoppers. Last year, more than 9000 people attended the show, comprised of more than 150 exhibitors, representing 19 countries and 28 tourism boards. The show will be promoted with a $1 million multi-media campaign in a powerful media outlet combination that reaches over 2.8 million readers weekly (Boston Globe, Metro Boston…). JTBNA will be exhibiting in booth # 408 and through this activity will be able to increase consumer and trade awareness, increase Jordan package sales, programs and length of stay, in addition to increasing media coverage |
