NORTH AMERICA
23 – 25 March

JTBNA will participate in the Boston Globe Travel Show: The Boston Globe Travel Show connects travel professionals with thousands of interested travel shoppers. Last year, more than 9000 people attended the show, comprised of more than 150 exhibitors, representing 19 countries and 28 tourism boards. The show will be promoted with a $1 million multi-media campaign in a powerful media outlet combination that reaches over 2.8 million readers weekly (Boston Globe, Metro Boston…). JTBNA will be exhibiting in booth # 408 and through this activity will be able to increase consumer and trade awareness, increase Jordan package sales, programs and length of stay, in addition to increasing media coverage

JTBNA will run Virtuoso Life magazine ad. As part of JTBNA 2007 marketing activities and new partnership with the prestigious Virtuoso luxury travel network, Virtuoso Life Magazine– Outdoors Special, will include an ad on Jordan. The magazine, an award-winning flagship periodical reaches proven travelers in 175,000 households across the U.S. This partnership is a great asset to Jordan since Virtuoso network is comprised of 565 of the world’s most prestigious travel agencies making the group the most powerful in this niche market
12 – 14 March

JTBNA will exhibit for the first time at the Christian Management Association (CMA) Annual Leadership and Management Conference, a gathering of key decision-makers for leading Christian organizations and churches. Leaders from most major, non-denominational para-church groups attend this event, including high-profile ministries such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; Campus Crusade for Christ; and Focus on the Family. JTBNA will promote Jordan as a destination for travel ministry programs, as well as retreats and conferences
Feb/March

JTBNA will be participating in 5 of the Addison Travel Trade Show series -Canada in 2007. The Addison Travel Marketing Company is Canada’s leading trade show provider. Most shows in 2006 set records or achieved greater numbers than the previous year in terms of both exhibitors and attendees with nearly 8000 travel agents, including many owners/managers from ACTA. The benefit JTBNA gets from these shows is immense since it offers an opportunity to reach up scale out of town travel agents, as well as to target Canadian media by hosting media conferences in each city

JTBNA will participate in NY Times Travel Show: The NY Times Travel Show is the largest consumer and travel trade show produced in the U.S. Over 26,000 attendees (7,000 trade professionals) visited the Expo Floor in 2006 which held over 500 tourism boards, premiere luxury destinations, operators, outfitters, and spas from around the globe. JTBNA will be exhibiting in booth # 138, and the aim of this activity is to increase consumer and trade awareness, increase Jordan package sales, increase Jordan programs and length of staying, and last but not least, increase in trade and press contacts
19 – 22 Feb

JTBNA will participate in the Educational Travel Conference (ETC): ETC is an educational conference for the non-profit community. Attended by more than 500 travel planners, tour operators, destination managers and suppliers (from alumni associations, universities, art and natural history museums). JTBNA has a 10x10 sqm booth space, and will be sponsoring a key note address, as well as speaking on many different panels at the conference. The aim of this activity is to increase awareness of the educational/ special interest market on the cross cultural experience in Jordan. Also increase planners/alumni knowledge of Jordan, increase in package sales and length of staying, and increase in planners’ contacts

JTBNA will be participating in Religious Conference Management Assn. (RCMA). JTBNA will be able to increase awareness of Jordan's MICE market, and conference facilities’ (particularly Dead Sea-Madaba-BBJ triangle) among religious meeting and travel planners
