The Jordan Tourism Board has invited its members to participate in three special business forums to be held in Chile, Brazil and Argentina on the sidelines of His Majesty King Abdullah’s official visit to the South American continent.

The Forums aim at strengthening ties with the tourism industry in South America through direct contacts and meetings between suppliers and providers from Jordan, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. JTB is currently organizing a road show to take place in early October in the three countries which includes a number of meetings with top potential tour operators and trade associations, in addition to organizing prescheduled meetings between outbound tour operators and its members.

The forum will take place in Chile, Brazil and Argentina. In all three forums, JTB will offer the attendees individual tables to meet counterpart tour operators on a pre-scheduled appointment format. The Board is planning a press conference on the sidelines of all forums to introduce the Jordan tourism product and to announce the Jordan Travel Mart, which will be held at the Dead Sea in March 2009.

In Brazil, the JTB and its members will visit ABAV, the biggest Tourism event in the America’s. The visit, on the 23rd of October, will expose JTB and Jordanian tour operators to this event and will help them evaluate their anticipated first participation in 2009.
