A delegation of Jordanian tour operators headed by JTB visited Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait in the second half of June in a bid to meet with the trade and to establish business with them. In each of these countries the local trade was invited to attend a workshop to meet with the delegation.

Arab visitors comprise the majority of arrivals to Jordan and this is a major important market. JTB has been consolidating its efforts to promote Jordan and increase the arrivals from the GCC.
