The Jordan Tourism Board North America/Canada in cooperation with Royal Jordanian hosted a press trip as well as a familiarization trip from Canada to take part in RJ’s inaugural flight from Montreal on 25th May.

The two groups were invited to a series of commemorative events leading up to the inaugural flight, and arrived in Jordan for a full schedule of touring the country and meeting with JTB members and officials to enrich their experience and pave the way for future business. This activity is certain to increase the visibility and presence of Jordan as a tourism destination in the Canadian market.

During this trip JTB also hosted a well known photographer George Fisher from North America who plans to produce a travel book on Jordan as well as a photo exhibition and Jordan posters. The photos resulting from this were extremely beautiful highlighting the unique stunning sites of Jordan.
