The Jordan Tourism Board participated in ITB Berlin, the biggest travel show in the world and the prime meeting place, marketplace and driving force behind the industry.

The JTB stand was shared by 22 of its partners in a 430m² pavilion suspending 6 meters in height making it visible and attractive from a distance. JTB’s participation was kicked off with a reception at the stand that was heavily visited from major players in the industry with a guest appearance of the Minister of Economy of Germany and the Mayor of Berlin.

The JTB also held training for tour agents at the stand where more than 80 agents came in to learn about the Jordan tourism product and how to best sell this product to the end consumer.

The exhibition was attended by the Minister of Tourism & Antiquities / Chairman of the Jordan Tourism Board Mr. Osama Dabbas and JTB Managing Director Mr. Mazen Homoud.

Stand partners expressed great satisfaction with their participation while the JTB is looking forward to reaping the fruits of this participation in increased arrivals from the German market amongst others.
