InterContinental Jordan reveals JD 3 million renovation of its conference & banqueting venues
Hotel InterContinental Jordan has unveiled a JD3 million ($4.5 million) renovation project dedicated to transform its events & conventions facilities into the premier and best venues for hosting social events and business gatherings such as conferences, meetings, exhibitions and wedding parties.
A unique blend of fashionable and luxurious materials has been selected by famous Interior Designer Harry Gregory to produce venues that offer fresh and inviting environments designed for ultimate comfort and productivity. The famed Grand Ballroom, being known to accommodate over 1000 guests has been refurbished with modern designs through its redecorated walls, plush flamboyant carpeting, smart lighting fixtures and glimmering wavy crystal chandeliers that will add sparkle to the ambiance. The hall, expected to open June 1st 2009, can be divided into four sections by sound proof partitions providing a separate meeting space environment.
At Al Riwaq Hall, the renovation that is taking place will surely get you swept off your feet once you enter this marvelously decorated new Ballroom. The hall has been re-shaped and this rectangular natural-light banqueting facility will most certainly become the favorite venue for Weddings and Conferences, accommodating up-to over 400 guests for diner as of September 1st 2009.
The renovation of the conventions & events facilities is part of a larger JD14 million ($21 million) renovation project currently taking place at the InterContinental Jordan that includes 170 guest rooms and suites featuring the latest standards of luxury and comfort allowing the hotel to take a great leap towards a trendier, more fashionable and stylish hotel scene, blending traditional Jordanian hospitality with modern day, contemporary design. |
