JORDAN HIGHLIGHTS
Six Senses opens Spa in Jordan

Renowned for developing and operating resorts in inspirational settings, Six Senses is once more preparing to launch just such a property. Evason Ma’In Hot Springs & Six Senses Spa brings the eco-sensitivity of the group to an extraordinary and rugged location in Jordan, just minutes from the Dead Sea and a one-hour drive west of the capital of Amman. Sitting in a rocky ravine, 264 meters below sea level, the resort features hot mineral spring waterfalls, which legend has that Herod the Great bathed in the waters.

Visitors from around the world will be able to mingle with regular patrons to the hot springs and thermal pools, with the Evason Ma’in entrusted as custodian of the public portion, whilst retaining the therapeutic falls at the resort and the Six Senses Spa for the exclusive enjoyment of its guests.

Originally constructed in the 1980’s, the main resort building has completed a $12 million make-over to convert it to an Evason. This includes a new free-standing Six Senses Spa complex that will focus on the properties of the mineral-rich waters, offering Healing Mineral and Dead Sea therapies such as salt scrubs and the famed mud wraps. The spa will also feature an a la carte menu of Six Senses signature treatments including the renowned Sensory Journey.

The reconfigured accommodations offer ninety-seven deluxe guestrooms and suites, including two Royal Suites. Several suites feature personal spa facilities.
