Spectacular Carnival Unveils the Multi-Million Dollar Transformation of Le Méridien Amman
After a year and a half of renovations and approximately $15 million dollars investment, Le Meridien Amman lit up its façade and held a spectacular carnival to unveil the luxuriously renovated guest rooms and suites of one of Amman’s long established and most popular hotels.
The carnival in Venice theme, held under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Osama Dabbas, Minister of Tourism, saw the hotel lit up for a spectacular event with fire breathers, stilt walkers and live jazz music keeping approximately 1000 guests entertained in the build up to the cutting of the giant red ribbon wrapped around the hotel’s exterior.
The multiple award-winning hotel has given a complete face-lift to 300 of its guestrooms, 34 suites, in addition to its four presidential and royal suites. The new rooms have been lavishly appointed with specially commissioned furniture, paintings and carpeting, and have been fully equipped with the latest state of the art technology. The presidential and royal suites are a unique design, decorated with fine fabrics, specially designed furnishings, and original artworks, providing the visitor the impression of a private home. Le Meridien Amman’s renovations included the introduction of new business center in addition to The Royal Club Lounge which has also been elegantly re-designed by the world renowned LRF Designers International Ltd-UK.
