IFP Group launches “Amman Exhibition Park”

IFP Jordan started full swing works on the 100,000 square meters new Amman Exhibitions Park located on the Airport road adjacent to the Dunes Club.

 

Amman Exhibitions Park features over 25000 sq. m. of covered exhibition halls, 7000 sq. m. of open exhibition area, event halls dedicated to conferences, worshiping place, landscaped areas, and parking lots of about 60000 sq. meters that will handle more than 2000 cars and buses. 

The exhibitions halls will be equipped with air-conditioning, electricity, lighting, Internet facilities, and cleaning and maintenance services. A cafeteria and restaurant services as well as stand building and design, signs, lettering and graphics, furniture and lighting appliance renting and other related services will be provided on site.

The Exhibitions Park will be ready to host International fairs and events in all sectors, as of mid April 2007. According to Rose Wazani, General Manager of IFP Jordan, member of the IFP Group “the strategic location of the exhibitions park, and its large spaces will expand trade development opportunities and enhance new joint venture investments; these exhibitions will provide great benefits to the hospitality and tourism sectors and will serve the increasing trade fair demand in the Kingdom.

Wazani added that the 4th International Rebuild Iraq Exhibition will take place this year at the Park from May 7th to 10th, 2007, noting that IFP Group has organized the previous series of the Rebuild Iraq Exhibition in Amman in 2005 – 2006 which attracted multinational companies and VIPs of the business community from all around the world. Last year, the 3rd Rebuild Iraq held at Al Abdali Project from 8 to 11 May 2006, has attracted more than 1022 companies from around 49 countries, 38 of which participated with official stands.

Wazani also revealed that the park will host 5 international fairs and many other events in 2007. These events shall promote business opportunities, and develop industry sectors in the Kingdom and neighboring countries. She also added that the Exhibition Park will provide employment opportunities for young Jordanians
