10 May

JTB Germany will host a consumer information event in cooperation with a travel agency to give a presentation about Jordan and inform the consumers about this destination.
11 May

JTB Germany will hold a training for the staff of Arche Noah Reisen tour operator to inform them about Jordan, and teach them techniques on how to best sell the destination.
14, 26, and 31 May

JTB Germany will run Jordan co-op ads in national newspapers in partnership with Dr. Tigges. The ads will run in Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Zeit national newspapers.
15 May

JTB Germany will send out a stand alone Jordan E-newsletter to more than 35,000 tour agents in partnership with Helios Reisen.
20 May

JTB Germany will send out a consumer Email newsletter for more than 50,000 addresses in partnership with RTK Travel Agent Chain to inform the trade about the latest developments in Jordan.

JTB Germany will carry out a stand alone Jordan Distance Learning training for tour agents in partnership with Studiosus

JTB Germany will run the first phase of Jordan destination advertising in trade and MICE magazines: FVW (Readership: 128.000), Touristik Aktuell (Readership: 122.720), Travel Talk (Readership: 133.800) and MICE magazine CIM (Readership: 110.000)
6-13 June

JTB Germany in cooperation with Royal Jordanian will be hosting the editor and reporter from Aero International Magazine, a leading German aviation and travel magazine (circulation 30,000).
20-27 June

JTB Germany in cooperation with the Willy Scharnow Foundation and Movenpick Hotels will host a travel agent familiarization trip to encourage the TA’s to sell Jordan and provide them with a personal experience to help sell the destination.
25 June

JTB Germany in cooperation with B&T Touristik will produce an 8 page Jordan flyer for consumers, to better sell the destination and expose it to the consumer.
June

JTB Germany will host 7-8 high quality media to experience Jordan and write about it in their publications. Tentative participants include a national newspaper, regional newspapers, a women’s magazine, a lifestyle magazine, and freelancer.
