Dubai’s First Class magazine has put Petra at the top of its Weekend Wonders top 10 list.

First Class said Petra is the best place to visit “when you’re in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of Dubai.”

The list, published in the October issue, described a weekend visit to the ancient city as an unrivalled holiday. “As one of the most archeologically dazzling countries in the world, most visitors to Jordan head straight to the country's most famous landmark, Petra, with its unrivalled monuments carved into the cliffs,” it added.
