PETRA NEWS UPDATE
The JTB Launches a TV Commercial

In its efforts to promote Petra to become one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and to garner local and international media coverage for Petra in particular and Jordan in general, the JTB worked in cooperation with Future Vision to create a TV commercial to appeal to the local public and encourage them to help make Petra the world wonder that it truly is.

 

The commercial started airing multiple times a day on Jordan Television and Jordanian satellite stations for free as part of JTV's contribution to this campaign and will continue to air throughout the campaign. The JTB is looking into extending this campaign to an international level to take advantage of this global competition and its broad international support to increase the media exposure for Petra. 

 

The TVC borrowed moments from the event held by the JTB a month ago when HM Queen Rania was presented with the official nomination certificate by the New 7 Wonders Foundation’s Founder and CEO Mr. Bernard Weber. The reliving Petra experience was created by the JTB to commemorate Mr. Weber and his team and to offer a unique filming experience to be filmed and aired by the N7W Foundation as part of their World Tour.
