David Lynch :-

David Lynch is a multi-faceted artist (movies, photography, paintings). His work is so singular as to elude any classification. He has an uncanny knack for pointing a finger at that which is disquieting, creating a palpable but... delectable climate of unease. Will be presented in Amman: Some fifteen lithographs from his recent series: The Paris Suite and Women.

The Paris Suite

"The Paris Suite" was inspired by very small "Post-It" drawings that I made in the 1970's and 1980's. Herve Chandes of the Fondation Cartier introduced me to Patrice Forest at Idem printing studio in Paris, which opened the door to a great experience in the world of lithography. "The Paris Suite" is a series of 12 lithographs each in an edition of 30.

I applaud Cecilia Attias for her great work to establish this new festival, and I wish the Jordan Festival the best of luck.
