CONFERENCES & EVENTS
A range of new facilities combined with a dynamic marketing strategy by the
Jordan Tourism Board have triggered a steady increase in the meetings,
incentive, conference and exhibitions sector of Jordan’s tourist industry.
Jordan's natural attributes, from the haunting, primeval starkness of
Wadi Rum, to the lively centre of urban
Amman; from the majestic ruins of bygone civilizations to the timeless
splendour of the Dead Sea,
are all unveiled as unique destinations offering breathtaking and mysterious
sights, high standard accommodation, exquisite cuisine and countless activities
that provide visitors with inspiration, motivation, and rejuvenation.

The options for incentive experiences are endless. High achievers with a taste
for adventure can enjoy a desert experience to discover the challenges and wild
beauty of some of the country’s outstanding natural sites such as
Wadi Rum or Petra,
where 4x4 vehicles, camels or spirited Arabian horses are the preferred mode of
transport. They can soar with the eagles over the towering desert mountains in
a hot air balloon, learn to fly, go skydiving, or climb and explore the
challenging cliff faces to discover the ancient rock carvings and man-made
tombs of those who lived in the area thousands of years ago. They can
experience life Bedouin-style and dine under a million stars to the haunting
sounds of Arabic music.

Aqaba, to the south, offers the
best dive sites imaginable, where vast coral reefs are home to countless
species of fish and underwater life. Here they can dive with whale sharks,
dolphins and turtles and marvel at the kaleidoscopic colours beneath the warm,
gentle waves of the Red Sea. Above the waves there is sailing, waterskiing,
windsurfing and just about every other water-related fun activity imaginable.
Jordan is also famous for its massive ancient castles, such as
Karak and Shobak,
where mock battles can be fought and won (or lost), and mediaeval banquets are
served under the vaulted walls and mighty ramparts. Also, there is
Jerash – a Rome away from Rome, where chariot races and gladiator-style
challenges are par for the course.
Jordan’s famous Dead Sea resorts
provide a more relaxed, therapeutic, experience. Here are the exclusive spa
resorts, where self-indulgence and pampering are the order of the day and
work-worn delegates and other visitors emerge feeling at least 10 years younger
and ready to face the challenges of life with newly discovered vitality.
If you want to feel good about yourself and help others, you can participate in
the Dead Sea
Marathon which takes place every April and raises money for The Society
for the Care of Neurological Patients.

this outstanding country, where thermal springs, cascading waterfalls and deep
canyons provide a natural playground for energetic incentives.
All this is backed by Jordan’s commitment to providing the very best in

and several Roman chariots competing in a classical seven lap race around the
